Description:
Common condition in which colon fails to function
properly. Also known as nervous indigestion, spastic colitis, mucus
colitis and intestinal neurosis.
Symptoms:
Combination of any of the following: abdominal
pain and distension, more frequent bowel movements with pain, or
relief of pain with bowel movements, constipation; diarrhea, excessive
production of mucus in the colon, indigestion, flatulence, nausea
or anorexia, varying degrees of hostile feelings, sleep disturbances,
anxiety or depression. Common food allergy symptoms are: heart palpitation,
hyperventilation, fatigue, excessive sweating, headaches, etc.
